 Growing Hope Recovery is proud to bring Region 8 residents immediate,     compassionate crisis response right where they are.

When a mental health or substance use crisis hits, every minute matters.

 Growing Hope Recovery now offers two Louisiana crisis services, Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) and Community Brief Crisis Support (CBCS), as part of the Region 8 Mobile Crisis Partnership bringing trained crisis professionals directly into the twelve parishes of Northeast Louisiana.

 Mobile Crisis Response (MCR)

Mobile Crisis Response is the first line of support for someone in an active mental health or substance use crisis. A trained crisis team comes to the individual at home, work, school, or anywhere in the community rather than requiring them to come to us.

• Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Face-to-face response typically within 1 hour in urban areas and 2 hours in rural areas
• Designed to de-escalate the crisis, keep individuals safe, and connect them to the right next step of care
• Serves as an alternative to unnecessary emergency room visits, hospitalization, or law enforcement involvement

 Community Brief Crisis Support (CBCS)

Community Brief Crisis Support is short-term, ongoing follow-up care for individuals who have already received an initial crisis response (such as MCR). CBCS helps people stabilize in their own home and community rather than a hospital or facility.

• Face-to-face support delivered for up to 15 days following an initial crisis intervention
• Available 24/7
• Focused on de-escalating ongoing behavioral health needs, developing safety plans, and connecting individuals to longer-term treatment and community resources
• Bridges the gap between an initial crisis response and lasting recovery support

  A Regional Partnership Built for Northeast Louisiana

Growing Hope Recovery is honored to serve as the operational partner in the Region 8 Mobile Crisis Partnership, established through a Memorandum of Understanding with the Northeast Delta Human Services Authority (NEDHSA) Louisiana's designated behavioral health authority for Region 8.

Under this partnership:

• NEDHSA provides executive leadership for the regional crisis system overseeing state and federal compliance, strategic planning, quality assurance, and overall coordination.
• Growing Hope Recovery serves as the operational arm, deploying Mobile Crisis Response teams that provide immediate, in-person behavioral health intervention for adults in crisis.

Together, we're building Northeast Louisiana's first fully integrated regional crisis response system coordinating closely with hospitals, law enforcement, EMS, insurance companies, and other behavioral health providers so that individuals in crisis are met with timely, appropriate care, not just an emergency room visit.

This partnership serves all twelve parishes of Region 8: Caldwell, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Tensas, Union, and West Carroll.

We are also proud to partner with Louisiana Crisis Hub the statewide dispatch line that connects individuals in crisis to Mobile Crisis Response teams like ours. When someone in Region 8 calls the Crisis Hub, our team is deployed to respond  making sure help arrives quickly, no matter where someone is in the community.
